A suspect was arrested on Monday, July 7, at Englewood’s Pirates Cove Water Park for an alleged sexual assault on a child, the Englewood Police Department reported.

Officers were dispatched around 5 p.m. regarding a sexual assault in progress at the popular recreational facility. Police were able to identify and detain the suspect, Trenton Moskovita, 18, who was still in the park.

It is alleged that Moskovita led a juvenile female into a family changing room where he sexually assaulted her.

Moskovita was arrested and booked into the Arapahoe County Jail on the following charges:

18-3-405 Sexual Assault on a Child

18-3-302 Second Degree Kidnapping

Moskovita remains in custody as of July 9 on a $200,000 cash or surety bond. He is set to appear in court on July 11 at the Arapahoe County Justice Center to hear formal charges being filed against him.

Moskovita is a recent graduate from Green River High School in Green River, Wyoming, where he played percussion for the marching band.
