The annual Elizabeth Celtic Festival will bring its celebration of Irish, Welsh and Scottish culture to Casey Jones Park in Elizabeth on Saturday, July 19 and Sunday, July 20.

The two-day event features music, dance, artisans, bagpipes (of course!), Scottish athletic events, food, a Children’s Glen and children’s parade, pubs, whiskey tasting and more.

Many events invite attendee participation, including “The Kirkin’ of the Tartans” Sunday-morning non-denominational Christian worship service, a hands-on Celtic harp clinic, the children’s parade and leather crafting.

Admission prices vary for attendees age 11 and older, and children 10 and younger are admitted at no cost. The event info says attendees may not bring dogs onto the grounds unless they are service animals with proof of vaccination.
