Highlands Ranch Water crews are making repairs on Broadway near C-470 after a water main broke early this morning.

According to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, a water main broke at the intersection of Broadway and Dad Clark Drive just before 1:30 a.m., causing major flooding in the road.

As crews continue to find the source of the water main break as of noon on June 26, there are minimal impacts to customers of local businesses. However, drivers may be impacted.

At 12:05 p.m., Kari Larese, a spokesperson for Highlands Ranch Water, said that southbound traffic along Broadway is running smoothly, but there is only one lane going through the intersection on the northbound side.
