John M Humphreys, 62, passed away June 25 at Swedish Medical Center in Englewood.
He was born Oct. 19, 1952, in Littleton, to Jack and Laura Humphreys. He was a graduate of Littleton High School in the class of 1971. He traveled around the country working as general manager for different hotels. John then accepted a position as a night auditor at the Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, where he worked for many years. After retirement from the Stanley, he received his real estate license and enjoyed the industry.
John truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; golfing, camping and enjoying the mountains.
He is survived by his sister, Susan, and brother, Jeff (Traci) Humphreys. John also had a cat, Rico, whom he loved very much.
Family, friends, and others whose lives John touched are invited to his memorial service at noon, July 15, at The Worship Center at 14650 Chambers Road in Brighton/ There will be a celebration of life with visiting, reminiscing and supporting to follow at the Humphreys home, 1533 Wildflower Place, Brighton.
